The Association of Specialists in Aging (ASA) is an organization of northeast Ohio professionals who work in the elder care industry. ASA members are nurses, social workers, marketing directors, senior center coordinators, program coordinators and facility owners working in small group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, non-profit agencies, home healthcare agencies, hospice agencies, as well as financial and legal service companies for seniors.
ASA welcomes anyone who serves this segment of the population to become a member.
The mission of ASA is to strengthen the professionalism among those who have chosen to promote the well-being of older persons in Lake, Geauga, Ashtabula and eastern Cuyahoga counties by increasing the awareness of aging as a specialized field and by facilitating change for the improvement of life of older persons.
Our vision statement is to have a coordinated network of successful professional relationships that promote the well-being of older adults by providing its membership the opportunity to network, learn and serve.
